London in 2012 was always going to be packed with a lot of patriotism. Apart from the Queen?s Diamond Jubilee, The Olympics was expected to bring a huge wave a tourism into London. Although that may not have materialised, the retailers have been in overdrive to express any British-ness whatsoever.
This is the shop window of the ?Nespresso Boutique? on Brompton Road, Knightsbridge. Nespresso are a retailer of a coffee machine and pod system. A neat concept, you shove a ?pod? into a machine and press a button. No messing around with grounds and worrying about the freshness of your beans. These guys have been so successful that they have dedicated stores, just selling their machines, coffee pods and accessories.
As someone who loves coffee, I also own a proper Gaggia machine and even a professional roaster and grinder, but I use the Nespresso machine as it?s much easier and cleaner.
The Nespresso window display also has the iconic London Bus so get down there to take a look? impressive, even if you don?t like coffee!
