Western Kings County Active Kids Healthy Kids Grant Application are available.
The fund is meant to help the community to address innovative, non traditional, creative physical activity initiatives that enable youth and their families to lead?physically?active lifestyles.
Project examples: Before or after school activities, new recreational youth sports, outdoor activities (snow shoeing, tennis etc), Girls In Motion, youth fitness.
Eastern Kings includes the communities from Cambridge to Wilmot and North/South Mountains.
Deadline for applications is Friday February 17th 2012.
